As Director of Construction Services at JM Zell, Andy is a key participant in multiple construction project management engagements, where he leverages his decade of experience in engineering, construction management, and development to provide clients with owner representation and construction management services. Andy has managed a variety of construction projects including adaptive reuse, interior renovations, renewable energy (commercial photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems), site work infrastructure, transportation, land development, base building commercial and multifamily projects, MEP systems and infrastructure, and industrial.
Prior to joining JM Zell, Andy worked for a global owner/developer, where he was responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities and provided strategic oversight as a third-party owner's representative to a major financial institution. Projects for the financial institution included an approximately $200M commercial campus renovation and several renewable energy projects across North America to meet sustainability goals. Andy also managed the master developer scope of work for The Parks at Walter Reed, a 66-acre mixed-use redevelopment at the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center, encompassing 3.1 million square feet. Additionally, Andy has experience with third-party code and special inspections, jurisdictional permitting and engagement across the DC metro region, and MEP engineering management.
Andy attended Virginia Tech, where he received a BS in Geophysics.
